Bucket Hat Sizing
If you are in between sizes or unsure of your hat size, we recommend sizing up. Most of our hats have an elastic band on the inside to add a snug fit. Questions? To find your personal hat size, you will have to measure the circumference of your head. You'll need either a flexible tape-measure or a long piece of fabric (i.e. scarf or string) and a ruler. Simply wrap it around your head about 2-3" above your eyebrows to find the circumference.

A traditional craft made from plants
Our artisan partners use cabuya, a native agave fiber, to make and crochet our bucket hats. To access the fiber, they harvest the penca plant and break down its leaves to reach the fiber that lives inside, then process it into workable thread. People have been crafting from cabuya for thousands of years, and our artisan partners represent some of the last communities still using this age-old method.
The tones on our bucket hats come from plants. Our artisan partners collect tree barks, leaves and berries to botanically dye the fiber.
Crocheted natural fiber bends and flexes. Pack it in your suitcase or the back of your car and it comes right back to its shape.
