Social Media & Design Intern
We're currently seeking a well-rounded, passionate and reliable Social Media and Design Assistant to join the Minga team. The role would include the following:
Social Media
- Assisting with planning our Instagram grid and stories on a weekly basis
- Manage and monitor the Minga Instagram Feed and Stories
- Organize monthly giveaways with like-minded brands
- Connect with like-minded influencers and creators
Marketing & Design
- Create and design graphics for Instagram
- Create and design monthly newsletters alongside our founder
- Managing, editing and executing the Minga blog. Coordinate with the Minga community to create feature posts, share updates and stories behind our brand
Our ideal candidate would ideally have:
- Extremely interested in sustainable and ethical design, loves story telling and has values that match the Minga mission
- Organized and communicative, open to feedback and has a positive attitude
- Experience using social media, especially Instagram and Pinterest
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator
- Understands design principles and can use a style guide to create graphics and emails that are on-brand and cohesive
- Experience blogging, writing and telling stories
- Basic web design skills, especially with Shopify
- Experience using Mailchimp or Klaviyo
- Your own laptop and software
- Bonus points if you speak Spanish and have traveled to South America
- Bonus points if you have past experience in photography

This position is paid. This is a remote position, however it's a bonus if you live within San Diego and could come to our studio every so often. This will be a great opportunity to grow and learn from a small team. Applications will be open until May 1.
