Accessibility at Minga

Minga / Made by Minga is a small, independent brand, and we want our shop to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or other assistive technology.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard. We are not claiming we have reached it everywhere. We are a small team, our site changes often, and we would rather tell you honestly where we are than post a promise we cannot keep.

What we have done so far

Written descriptive alternative text for the product imagery across our catalog, so screen readers can describe what each piece actually looks like.
Reviewed our product descriptions and size information so the details you need are in text, not only in images.
Chosen a site theme that supports keyboard navigation and resizable text.

Where we know we fall short

Some parts of our site come from third-party apps and embedded content that we do not fully control, including reviews, some pop-ups, and social media embeds. Older journal posts and campaign pages may not meet the same standard as our current product pages. We are working through these as we go.

If something on our site does not work for you

Please tell us. We will fix it, and in the meantime we will help you directly.

We aim to respond within three business days. If a part of the site is blocking you from ordering, we will take your order by email and walk you through it ourselves. You should never have to fight our website to buy a hat.
