Our hats are handmade and one-of-a-kind. This means that no two are exactly alike and almost all contain irregularities from size to color. Please allow for slight imperfections as this is what adds to the unique character of each hat and band.

A One-of-a-Kind Handcrafted Woven Straw Hat

We partner with a women's weaving co-op in Cuenca, Ecuador to weave each Minga hat by hand one by one.
The straw blank then goes to our our artisan partners to press and shape. Once it’s formed, it’s carefully trimmed, ironed, cleaned and sewn.

Made from Natural Fibers + Materials

We work with raw materials, like wool and paja toquilla straw, to make all of our hats. We also use vegtable-tanned, handcrafted leather accessories that are built to last. We do our best to cut down on waste and consider each step of the process in our work.

We get it, buying a hat online can be tough! All of our hats come with an elastic band to make for easy sizing + fit.
