To find your personal hat size, you will have to measure the circumference of your head. You'll need either a flexible tape-measure or a long piece of fabric (i.e. scarf or string) and a ruler. Simply wrap it around your head about 2-3" above your eyebrows to find the circumference.

Since our bucket hats are crocheted natural fiber that means they are bendable and flexible! Pack your hat in your suitcase or in the back of your car for a roadtrip and it'll come back to it's shape.
Our artisan partners use Cabuya, a native agave fiber, to make and crochet our Bucket Hats. To access the fiber, our artisan partners harvest the Penca plant and break down its leaves to access the fiber that lives inside to be processed into workable thread.
People have been crafting products from cabuya for thousands of years. In fact, it was one of the first plant fibers processed for commercial use, but sadly with the introduction of plastics, its need has slowly decreased. Our artisan partners represent some of the last communities still using this age-old method.
The beautiful tones on our woven bucket hats are made from plants. Our artisan partners collect organic matter like tree barks, leaves and berries to botanically dye and process the fiber.
We get it, buying a hat online can be tough! All of our hats come with an elastic band to make for easy sizing + fit.

Clearly much higher quality than any other sun hat I've owned. It's simple and very cute, easy throw on with a lot of fits for summer and especially vacation. I have a pretty small head and the small fit snug so if you DON'T have a small head, I'd recommend a bigger size lol.

Love my handmade summer bucket hat! This hat is truly a handmade work of art that is flexible, packable, functional, stylish and fun to wear. It's got some weight and thickness and is not paper thin like a straw hat. I was out in 30 mph wind gusts and it did not blow off but I also made sure to have it pulled down on my head good as you will see in some pics. I got this hat to keep the sun out of my eyes, because it's cute, I've always wanted one of these hats but wanted a well made one, and I love handmade pieces. I ordered SIZE M/L. There is an elastic band sewn inside which helps to give a good hold and fit. This hat feels strong and like it is made to last. I am extremely happy with my choice!!!
